Anchor Pants

This is my favorite article of clothing. My Black & White Anchor Pants from The Gap.

The just fit so perfectly and whenever I wear them I feel my best (hence why I have worn them to several job interviews, well the creative fields at least.)

Blazer is the Gap as well - OLD though, and found it on sale. Every girl needs a plain, fitted, black blazer - if you don't own one, get one! My T-shirt was just a cheapy from XXI and shoes are Colin Stuart from Victorias Secret.

Yesterday was Mother's Day!! I hope everyone had a great day with their Mommies (or as a mommy!) I sure did! My Mom and I went to a huge Food Truck Festival downtown - then had a lovely drink outside, followed by dinner with Patrick.

Weekend Goodies

Happy Monday Everyone - Today was pretty quick for me. Work was good - it was a coworkers birthday so we had a little group out for sushi lunch - yum! After work I decided to get myself some succulents from Lowes to spruce up my office (photos to come!) and then it was just cleaning and hanging with my two favorite fur-balls.

Check out some of the highlights of this past weekend:

He just can't take a bad picture! This little tired-out pup got snapped right after running around the yard  for an hour - it was nice out and he was having the time of his life chasing other dog friends!

Cheeesssee!! Patrick and I at the beer tasting party on Saturday night!

Glitter to add a bit of happiness to my day - probably the worst picture of my non-pedicured feet that I couldve taken...but we all have our moments =) Check out Target for this fabulous (and inexpensive!) find.
My favorite moment of the weekend by far! I wake up to this on Sunday morning!! Two little cuddle bears all snug as a bug - I love it! so peaceful and sweet. I probably took 30 pictures of this - I couldnt stop myself!

Hope everyone has a great week & Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to Villa Alphie!

Hello!

Thank you very, very much for stopping by! Welcome to Villa Alphie - my new blog all about my addiction to fashion, my lack of funds to support that addiction, and all the lovely little things in between.

First off, you should know Villa Alphie is another way of saying Alphie's house - who is Alphie? My precious pup of course!

Alphie - 3 yrs old - Broken Coat Jack Russel

I have a feeling that he will be making many a frequent appearances in future various posts on this blog - considering my world revolves around this little guy.

Another guy that could very well show up often is Patrick - my fiance! We just got engaged in February and are very excited to see what lies ahead in our future!

Here we are the night we got engaged - I was a happy girl in the photo (as you might tell)

Here we are on vacation in FL doing a little dancing for my Birthday

I am starting this blog because, frankly, I have found myself with a lot of time on my hands as of lately- Patrick and I moved to North Carolina from New York this past January and I am having EXTREME difficulties in finding a job! I have been applying to jobs constantly and - yes have had interviews - but people move slowly down here, or dont follow up and Im frustrated. Regardless, all the better to take out my frustrations with writing a blog - no?!

Well, I hope you enjoy it! Please feel free to leave me comments and suggestions - You can contact me personally at hmdunne@gmail.com
